DeKalb County, Georgia has 267.7 square miles of land area and is the 113th largest county in Georgia by total area. DeKalb County is made up of a collection of cities, towns, and unincorporated areas, with Atlanta, Brookhaven, Decatur, Dunwoody, and Stone Mountain being some of the most well-known. It is the fourth most populous county in metro Atlanta. DeKalb County is known for its diversity and is home to various landmarks, educational institutions, and major employers.
